How It Works

Each card (/dice roll) is worth a point value. The goal is to reach 21.
If your cards total more than 21, you "bust" and lose the hand.Dice roll of 1 (Ace) = 1 or 11
Dice rolls of 2-10 are their respective numbers
Dice roll of 11-13 (Face Cards) = 10
Roll until you Stay or Bust!

Blackjack

Hard 21: Ace + 10 wins 2.5x the initial bet!
If the dealer gets a Hard 21, all bets are lost.
If a player Doubled Down, then the DD bet will be returned.
Soft 21: 3 or more cards wins 2x the initial bet!

Double Down

1 hit only!
Let the dealer know if you want to double down and
trade them your added bet!
If you draw with the dealer, you lose your Double Down bet.
It does not push to the next round!

Dealer's Hand

If the dealer's 1st and 2nd cards total 16 or less, the dealer must draw another card.
If the total is 17 or higher, they must stay their hand.
Dealer Busts: all those still in the game win 2x their initial bet.
Dealer does not bust: only those with a higher hand win 2x their bet.

Lecian's School of Gamba

Do you enjoy placing bets at the gamba table, but you wonder
what it's like to be on the other side in the dealer's chair?The Moonlight Lounge is honored to host Lecian's School of Gamba.The first session starts Thursday, March 14th at 10pm EST. Lecian will be teaching how to deal for Blackjack, including a review of all the rules of the game and how it translates to dice rolls in XIV.RSVPs are not required for this event, and if there is enough interest,
additional sessions may be held in the future.If you are interested in attending or have any questions,
